PRESALES ENGINEER – DUBAI / UAE

Ankaref, Türkiye's leading IoT service provider, is seeking an experienced Pre-sales Engineer to strengthen and expand its Dubai / UAE operations. Selected candidates will participate in comprehensive technical, product, and field training at our Ankara headquarters prior to assignment. Upon successful completion of the training period, the candidate will continue duties in Dubai.

GENERAL QUALIFICATIONS

  • Able to reside in Dubai / UAE,
  • Adaptable to Middle Eastern market dynamics with strong cultural awareness,
  • Experienced in IoT solutions, RFID solutions, energy automation, and related technologies (international pre-sales experience preferred),
  • Excellent command of English (Arabic as a second language is preferred),
  • Strong international customer communication, presentation, and representation skills
  • No travel restrictions between Türkiye and Dubai,
  • Graduate of Electrical-Electronics, Electronics Communications, or Computer Engineering programs
  • Minimum 8 years of experience in pre-sales engineering, project development or similar technical roles (including field experience),
  • Able to analyze customer needs and develop appropriate technical solutions,
  • Proactive, creative, solution-oriented with process improvement capabilities,
  • Strong team player with excellent coordination and communication skills,
  • For male candidates: completed military service,
  • Holder of a valid driver's license (Class B or equivalent).

TECHNICAL COMPETENCIES

  • Strong knowledge of IoT, RFID, Industry 4.0 and Digital Transformation technologies, with active interest in following sector developments,
  • Pre-sales or project experience in RFID technologies, cold chain management, and energy automation (preferred),
  • Proficient in communication protocols such as MQTT, Modbus, BACnet, KNX and wireless communication technologies,
  • Able to read, analyze and revise electrical and architectural project drawings when needed,
  • Knowledgeable in network infrastructures and data integration,
  • Experienced in preparing and reviewing technical specifications,
  • Experienced in PoC (Proof of Concept) execution, product demonstrations, field testing, and validation processes,
  • Capable of analyzing customer requirements and preparing technical documentation, project proposals and presentations.

JOB RESPONSIBILITIES

  • Conduct technical analysis of customer requirements for RFID projects, cold chain management, and energy automation,
  • Manage PoC, demonstration, field testing and customer presentation processes for products and solutions,
  • Collaborate with sales teams and provide technical support during proposal and bidding stages,
  • Contribute to defining communication and messaging protocols for system integration,
  • Take an active role in creating technical specifications, project planning and product implementation,
  • Collaborate with Sales, Product Development and R&D teams to deliver technical responses to customer needs,
  • Support project management processes through technical input on technology, equipment and workforce planning,
  • Review, analyze and revise electrical and architectural project documents in line with project requirements.
