Role Description

This is a full-time on-site role for an ELV (Extra Low Voltage) Engineer based in Abu Dhabi. You will be responsible for designing, implementing, and maintaining ELV systems, which include security systems, communication systems, lighting controls, and access controls. Tasks include creating system layouts, generating wiring diagrams, ensuring compliance with safety standards, and collaborating with internal teams, vendors, and clients. You will also identify system requirements, verify installations, and conduct regular testing and maintenance to ensure optimal performance.

Qualifications

  • Strong knowledge of ELV systems including CCTV, access control, public address systems, fire alarms, and building management systems.
  • Proficiency in system design, wiring diagrams, and AutoCAD or similar design tools.
  • Experience in project management, technical troubleshooting, and managing on-site installations.
  • Strong understanding of electrical and electronics engineering principles and compliance with safety standards and regulations.
  • Ability to communicate effectively with technical and non-technical stakeholders, vendors, and project teams.
  • Bachelor's degree in Electrical Engineering, Electronics Engineering, or a related technical field.
  • Certifications related to ELV systems or electrical engineering are a plus (e.g., KNX, BICSI, or equivalent).
  • Proven experience in ELV systems design and maintenance, ideally in the UAE market.
  • Problem-solving skills, attention to detail, and capability to work under deadlines.
