Key Responsibilities

* Prepare pastry items according to standardized recipes and portion guidelines

* Support daily pastry section operations including baking, assembling, and decorating desserts

* Ensure consistent quality, presentation, and freshness of all pastry items

* Follow HACCP and food safety standards for handling, storage, and sanitation

* Communicate effectively with kitchen team members and supporting departments

* Assist with stock rotation, labeling, and inventory control to minimize waste

* Maintain cleanliness and organization of workstations and equipment

* Support senior pastry chefs in meeting guest preferences and service standards

Ideal Profile

* Previous experience as a Commis Chef or similar role in a five-star hotel or restaurant

* Strong understanding of food hygiene and safety practices

* Passion for pastry and baking with eagerness to learn and develop skills

* Ability to work efficiently in a fast-paced kitchen environment

* Team-oriented mindset with clear communication skills
