Role Description

This is a full-time on-site role for a Senior Draftsman, located in Umm Al Quwain. The Senior Draftsman will be responsible for producing detailed technical drawings and plans for construction and manufacturing. Day-to-day tasks include collaborating with architects and engineers, interpreting design concepts, ensuring all drawings comply with industry and company standards, and providing accurate measurements and material specifications. The role also involves reviewing and modifying plans as necessary, ensuring project timelines are met, and maintaining consistent communication with the project team.

Qualifications

• Experience with CAD software, drafting techniques, and creating technical drawings
• Knowledge of construction processes, materials, and engineering principles
• Strong attention to detail and accuracy in measurements and specifications
• Ability to collaborate effectively with architects, engineers, and project managers
• Excellent problem-solving skills and ability to adapt to changes
• Relevant qualifications in drafting, architecture, or engineering
• Familiarity with local building codes and regulations is a plus
• Previous experience in the design and fit-out industry is advantageous
