Job Summary

We are seeking a highly analytical and performance-driven
Investment Analyst cum Trader
to join our team. The successful candidate will be responsible for analyzing, managing, and optimizing the company's investment portfolio while developing and executing effective trading strategies across multiple asset classes. This role requires strong financial expertise, deep market insight, and disciplined risk management to maximize returns while mitigating exposure.

Key Responsibilities

1. Portfolio Analysis & Management


• Analyze, monitor, and evaluate investment portfolios across multiple asset classes.


• Execute buy and sell decisions in alignment with defined investment objectives.


• Review portfolio performance regularly and recommend strategic reallocations based on market conditions and risk assessments.

2. Trading & Execution


• Execute trades efficiently across global markets in compliance with internal policies and regulatory requirements.


• Monitor real-time market movements, economic indicators, and geopolitical developments.


• Apply technical and fundamental analysis to design, test, and refine trading strategies.


• Manage risk exposure and ensure adherence to established risk management frameworks.


• Prepare daily trading summaries, performance reports, and market outlook updates.


• Identify high-potential trading opportunities and support continuous performance improvement.
3. Market Research & Strategy Development


• Conduct in-depth market, sector, and macroeconomic research to identify investment opportunities.


• Collaborate with senior management to develop and implement investment strategies aligned with organizational goals.


• Forecast market trends and prepare analytical reports to support strategic decision making.

4. Stakeholder Communication & Coordination


• Liaise with banks, brokers, consultants, and external advisors to support investment operations.


• Maintain regular communication with financial institutions and market intermediaries to stay informed of market developments.


• Present timely investment insights, portfolio updates, and performance reports to management.
5. Risk Management


• Monitor market volatility, economic indicators, and regulatory changes to assess investment risks.
• Implement proactive risk mitigation strategies to enhance portfolio resilience.


• Analyze political, economic, and regulatory factors affecting investment performance.

6. Due Diligence


• Conduct comprehensive due diligence for potential local and international investments.


• Assess country risk, market dynamics, financial viability, and competitive positioning prior to investment decisions.

7. Compliance & Ethics


• Ensure all trading and investment activities comply with company policies, legal regulations, and ethical standards.


• Uphold the highest levels of confidentiality, integrity, and professional conduct.

Qualifications & Requirements


• Bachelor's degree in Banking & Finance, Economics, Business Administration, or a related field.


• Master's degree or professional certifications (e.g., CFA) will be an added advantage.

Proven experience as an Investment Analyst, Trader, or in a similar financial role
.


• Strong proficiency in financial modeling, market analysis, and risk assessment tools.


• Excellent analytical, quantitative, and decision-making skills.


• Strong communication and stakeholder management capabilities.


• High level of professionalism, integrity, and strategic thinking.
