Job Description:

The Sous Chef will be responsible for overseeing all Kitchen operations, ensuring the production of high-quality, and managing the team.

This role requires a creative and skilled individual who can imaintain consistency in product quality, and uphold the highest standards of food safety and hygiene.

Key Responsibilities:

  • Together with our brand chef & Head of Bakery, plan, prepare, and execute the production of a wide range of Dishes and other specialty items.

  • Together with our brand chef, develop and test new recipes, ensuring they meet company standards and customer expectations.

  • Manage and train the team, providing guidance and support to improve their skills and efficiency.

  • Ensure all products are made according to recipes and specifications, maintaining consistency and quality.

  • Oversee inventory management, including ordering ingredients and supplies, and minimizing waste.

  • Maintain cleanliness and organization of the Kitchen area, adhering to all health and safety regulations.

  • Monitor and manage schedules to ensure timely production and delivery of goods.

  • Collaborate with other departments, such as sales and marketing, to promote new products and seasonal offerings.

  • Address customer feedback and resolve any issues related to bakery products.

Qualifications:

  • Proven experience as a Sous Chef or in a similar role in a European Cuisine .

  • Excellent knowledge of techniques and the ability to produce a wide variety of European Dishes goods.

  • Strong leadership and team management skills.

  • Creative and innovative mindset with the ability to develop new recipes.

  • Attention to detail and commitment to producing high-quality products.

  • Good organizational and time management skills.

  • Understanding of food safety and hygiene regulations.

  • Ability to work early mornings, weekends, and holidays as required.
