Recreation Receptionist

Specific Duties and Responsibilities:
- To know how to operate and deal with customers, associates, supervisors on the phone. That the phone is answered correctly and in a polite manner.
- To make sure all the reception area is tidy and clean and that all materials i.e. towels, newspapers, magazines and advertising material is readily available.
- To fully understand all the club's facilities and prices for memberships.
- To know all the classes available and how much they cost.
- To know all prices for coaching and massage in the relevant areas; how to make reservations and to communicate with the respective coaches.
- To make sure all guest and club members signs in the register book.
- To fully understand how to use micros, handle cash and equivalent payments and to transfer calls to other extension/numbers.
- To always take messages when needed. Having full details of who called e.g. name, contact number at least and to communicate these to whomever relevant.
- To constantly check ladies changing facilities, making sure that they are clean and tidy.
General Responsibilities
- To promote efficiency, confidence, courtesy and an extremely high standard of social skills.
- To generally promote and ensure good inter-departmental relations.
- To display a pleasant manner and positive attitude at all times and to promote a good company image to guests and colleagues.
- To demonstrate pride in the workplace and personal appearance at all times when representing the hotel thus identifying a high level of commitment.
- To adhere to Company and Hotel rules and regulations at all times.
