Key Responsibilities
Agent Design & Architecture

  • Design multi-agent and single-agent systems with clear scope, boundaries, and failure modes
  • Define agent roles, memory strategies (short-term, long-term, vector-based), and coordination patterns
  • Select appropriate models (LLMs, embeddings, tools) based on capability, cost, and reliability

Tooling & Orchestration
- Build agent workflows that integrate with real systems (CRMs, ERPs, data warehouses, APIs)
- Implement tool calling, function execution, and structured outputs
- Orchestrate agents using frameworks such as LangGraph, AutoGen, CrewAI, or custom architectures

Trust, Safety & Governance
- Implement guardrails: permissions, policy checks, execution limits, and human-in-the-loop controls
- Design logging, traceability, and replayable agent decisions
- Define rollback, retry, and exception-handling strategies for production environments

Evaluation & Reliability
- Establish metrics for agent performance (success rate, error types, latency, cost)
- Create test harnesses and simulations for agent behavior before deployment
- Continuously improve reliability through monitoring and feedback loops

Collaboration & Leadership
- Translate business workflows into agent-ready system designs
- Partner with product and engineering teams to align agents with real operational outcomes
- Contribute to internal standards and best practices for agentic AI development

Required Qualifications
- 4+ years of experience in software engineering, applied AI, or ML systems
- Hands-on experience building LLM-powered agents beyond simple chat interfaces
- Strong Python or TypeScript experience
- Experience with agent frameworks or orchestration patterns
- Deep understanding of tool-calling, structured outputs, and prompt-to-policy transitions
- Experience deploying AI systems in production environments

Desired Candidate Profile

Preferred Qualifications

  • Experience with n8n, Temporal, Airflow, or workflow engines
  • Familiarity with vector databases (Pinecone, Weaviate, FAISS, etc.)
  • Experience with enterprise systems (CRM, ERP, finance, ops)
  • Background in AI safety, evaluation, or observability
  • Consulting or client-facing experience translating ambiguity into shipped systems
