About the Hotel
An architectural masterpiece, Jumeirah Emirates Towers offers luxurious experiences in the heart of the UAE's most dynamic city. A dramatic icon of Dubai's skyline, soaring high above the central business and commercial district, Jumeirah Emirates Towers is the gateway to The Museum of the Future, which is directly accessible from the hotel. Comprising two equilateral triangles, this landmark structure is home to an Office Tower, Hotel Tower and a shopping boulevard. The hotel features 400 spacious rooms and suites, 15 world-class restaurants and bars, Talise Fitness, Talise Spa and a wide range of luxurious shopping and lifestyle attractions at the boulevard. The award-winning hotel has multiple venues, including the grand Godolphin Ballroom and 16 meeting rooms.
About the Job
An opportunity has arisen for a Waiter/ress to join the Lobby Lounge team in Jumeirah Emirates Towers.
The main duties and responsibilities of this role include:
- Deliver a warm, professional, and personalized dining experience by anticipating guest needs and responding promptly to requests.
- Confidently describe menu items and beverage pairings, showcasing detailed knowledge of ingredients and preparation methods.
- Liaise closely with the Culinary Team to ensure flawless food pickup, timely service, and consistent quality at every table.
- Manage table settings, serve food and beverages with precision, and maintain immaculate presentation throughout service.
- Use the point-of-sale system to accurately process guest orders and special requests, ensuring clear communication with the kitchen.
- Contribute to an engaging atmosphere by maintaining an attentive, unobtrusive presence and creating memorable dining moments.
About You
The ideal candidate for this position will have the following experience and qualifications
- 1 year of experience in a similar role within the luxury industry.
- High School Diploma.
- Software competencies – Microsoft Office programs (Intermediate)
- Problem solving.
- Leadership and team management skills.
