Key Responsibilities:

  • Assist in planning and execution of civil engineering projects.
  • Supervise construction activities to ensure quality, safety, and adherence to timelines.
  • Prepare and review drawings, estimates, and material requirements.
  • Monitor daily progress and maintain project reports and documentation.
  • Coordinate with contractors, suppliers, and other project stakeholders.
  • Conduct site inspections and ensure compliance with design and safety regulations.
  • Support senior engineers in quantity surveying, leveling, and surveying works.
  • Assist in quality control testing of materials (concrete, soil, asphalt, etc.).
  • Ensure proper maintenance of site records and project files.
  • Participate in preparing bar bending schedules, bill of quantities (BOQ), and as-built drawings.

Skills & Competencies:

  • Strong knowledge of civil engineering principles and construction practices.
  • Proficiency in AutoCAD, MS Office, and surveying instruments (Total Station, Theodolite, Leveling instruments).
  • Good understanding of building materials, codes, and safety standards.
  • Excellent teamwork, communication, and problem-solving skills.
  • Ability to read and interpret technical drawings and specifications.
  • Project documentation and report-writing skills.

Educational Qualification:

  • Diploma in Civil Engineering from a recognized institute or polytechnic.

Experience:

  • Freshers: Can work as Junior Engineer / Site Supervisor / Trainee Engineer.
  • Experienced (1–5 years): Can handle independent site supervision, estimation, and coordination work.
