Key Responsibilities

  • Design & Planning: Reviewing MEP designs, shop drawings, and submittals; coordinating with architects and engineers to avoid clashes.
  • Execution & Oversight: Managing MEP contractors and subcontractors, monitoring site progress, ensuring quality control, and resolving technical issues.
  • Compliance: Ensuring adherence to local codes, regulations, safety standards, and client specifications.
  • Project Management: Managing timelines, budgets, resources, and progress reporting for all MEP activities.
  • Commissioning & Handover: Leading testing, commissioning, and final handover of integrated building systems.
  • Team Leadership: Leading MEP teams, coordinating with stakeholders, and providing technical guidance.

Typical Qualifications

  • Bachelor's degree in Mechanical or Electrical Engineering.
  • Proven experience in MEP project management, often 5+ years.
  • Strong leadership, communication, and technical skills.
  • Deep understanding of MEP systems, building codes, and construction processes.
