A&M continues to expand in EMEA, and we are looking to recruit a Senior Director / Managing Director to cover the MENA region.

You will be working with some of the industry's brightest and most experienced colleagues, and you will:

  • Lead the execution of work fronts with expertise, identifying improvement initiatives and actively engaging with the client in all phases of the project.
  • Lead meetings and presentations with both client and A&M's managerial and executive levels, demonstrating confidence and mastery of the topics discussed.
  • Assume a leadership role with teams and clients, participating in effective negotiations and collaborations between leaders.
  • Build and maintain strong relationships with clients.
  • Develop and manage strategic partnerships for business growth.
  • Participate in events and associations to foster relationships and identify opportunities.
  • Work with a creative mindset to co-create solutions and offer innovative approaches to address client challenges.
  • Take advantage of industry network and influence to identify and develop new business opportunities for A&M Infra and other Business Units.
Desired Candidate Profile

A high-grade bachelor's degree in engineering and/or construction discipline (and or MBA) from an accredited top-tier university. Master's degree in civil engineering, or a related major. 15 to 20 years of proven experience within the metals and mining sectors in the Middle East region 10+ years of experience in Top Tier consulting firms, with strong business acumen, self-propelled entrepreneurial mindset, and strong interpersonal and communication skills. (Must-have requirement). Middle East Experience is mandatory with access to a current client base in region. Professional Accreditation such as MRICS, FRICS, PMI, PMP, MAPM, CIOB et al. Arabic language skills are desirable but not essential. Strong business acumen, self-propelled entrepreneurial mindset, and strong interpersonal and communication skills. Ability to facilitate analysis to guide project delivery, proposing action plans and demonstrating confidence in decision-making. Excellent verbal and written communication skills including the ability to articulate to senior members of management, client representatives and colleagues. Highly analytical and conceptual problem-solving mind-set. Strong project management and negotiation skills. Team-oriented personality. Motivated and effective in a fast-paced and dynamic culture. Understanding of the construction execution life cycle and exposure to feasibility studies, technical due diligence, procurement, PPP, development management, strategic PMO, client representative, cost advisory, claims and disputes. Strong interpersonal and communication skills, capable of articulating ideas to diverse audiences. Willingness to travel as required.
