Job Description:

We are seeking a highly skilled and passionate Karate Coach/Trainer specializing in
Japan Shotokan Karate
, with proven expertise in both
Kata
(forms) and
Kumite
(sparring). The ideal candidate will bring a deep understanding of Shotokan Karate techniques, a commitment to teaching, and a desire to inspire and mentor students of varying ages and skill levels.

Responsibilities:

• Conduct specialized
  Japan Shotokan Karate
  classes, focusing on
  Kata
  and
  Kumite
  for students of all age groups and abilities.
• Develop and implement structured training programs to enhance skills in both
  forms (Kata)
  and
  sparring (Kumite)
  .
• Provide personalized coaching, constructive feedback, and motivation to help students achieve excellence in Shotokan Karate.
• Regularly assess individual and group progress, adapting training techniques to meet the unique needs of students.
• Foster discipline, respect, and sportsmanship through Karate training.
• Maintain a safe and inclusive training environment that supports learning and growth.
• Stay up-to-date with the latest developments, techniques, and trends in
  Shotokan Karate Kata and Kumite
  .
• Collaborate with academy staff to organize competitions, workshops, and events.

Qualifications:

• Certified Karate Instructor with expertise in
  Japan Shotokan Karate
  , specifically in
  Kata
  and
  Kumite
  .
• Minimum of 2 years of experience teaching Shotokan Karate.
• Strong knowledge of Shotokan Karate principles, techniques, and philosophy.
• Excellent communication and interpersonal skills.
• Passionate about mentoring students and fostering their martial arts development.
• CPR and First Aid certification (preferred).
• Fluency in English; additional languages are an advantage.
