Job Title:
ELV Engineer (Supervision – Mid-Rise Buildings)
Location:
DubaiJob Purpose:

To supervise, coordinate, and ensure the proper execution of Extra-Low Voltage (ELV) systems in mid-rise building projects, ensuring compliance with approved designs, project specifications, and safety standards.

Key Responsibilities:

  • Supervise installation, testing, and commissioning of ELV systems including:
  • Fire Alarm Systems
  • CCTV & Security Systems
  • Access Control & Intercom
  • Public Address / Voice Alarm
  • Structured Cabling & Data Networks
  • Building Management Systems (BMS)
  • Review and approve ELV-related shop drawings, material submittals, and method statements.
  • Conduct site inspections to ensure quality of installation, adherence to drawings, and compliance with project standards.
  • Coordinate with contractors, consultants, and other engineering disciplines to resolve technical issues.
  • Monitor project progress, identify delays or deviations, and prepare technical site reports.
  • Assist in testing, commissioning, and handover of ELV systems.
  • Review and verify as-built drawings and operation & maintenance (O&M) manuals.
  • Ensure compliance with safety regulations and health, safety, and environmental policies.

Qualifications and Experience:

  • Bachelor's degree in Electrical, Electronics, or Telecommunications Engineering.
  • Minimum 8
    years of experience
    in ELV system supervision on mid-rise or building projects.
  • Knowledge of international standards (BS, IEC, NFPA, TIA/EIA, etc.).
  • Proficiency in AutoCAD, MS Office, and ELV software tools.
  • Strong communication, coordination, and reporting skills.
