Role Description

This is a full-time on-site role based in the Abu Dhabi Emirate, United Arab Emirates. The Senior Mechanical Cost Control Engineer will be responsible for managing and controlling costs within mechanical projects, preparing detailed cost reports, analyzing expenditure, and ensuring budgets align with project goals. The role also includes implementing effective project control measures, identifying cost-saving opportunities, and coordinating closely with project teams to ensure accountability and financial oversight. The position requires a proactive approach to problem-solving and a focus on achieving cost efficiency while maintaining project quality and timelines.

Qualifications

  • Proficiency in Cost Control and Cost Management to monitor and optimize project expenditures effectively
  • Strong Analytical Skills to evaluate project performance and ensure cost efficiency
  • Experience in Cost Reporting and the ability to prepare accurate financial documentation
  • Expertise in Project Control to ensure adherence to budget and timelines
  • Bachelor's degree in Mechanical Engineering or related field
  • 5+ years of relevant experience in cost control and project management in mechanical or construction industries
  • Strong communication and organizational skills for effective collaboration with project teams
  • Knowledge of project management software and tools is an advantage
