H2O Labs is seeking a highly skilled AI/ML & Data Engineer with 5 years of experience to join our innovative team. The ideal candidate will have strong expertise in Python, AI/ML, data engineering, SQL, Azure cloud services, and Power BI, with experience deploying models into production.

Roles & Responsibilities

  1. General Introduction & Experience

  2. Introduce yourself and highlight relevant AI/ML and data engineering experience.

  3. Python & AI/ML (Core Requirement)

  4. Proficient in Python and ML/AI libraries: Pandas, NumPy, Scikit-learn, TensorFlow, PyTorch, etc.

  5. Experience building NLP models using libraries/APIs such as OpenAI, Hugging Face.
  6. Design, develop, and evaluate ML models; provide examples of recent projects, challenges, and outcomes.

  7. Experience in fine-tuning and deploying LLMs.

  8. SQL & Data Engineering

  9. Write complex SQL queries: DDL, DML, joins, CTEs, window functions.

  10. Optimize SQL queries for performance improvements.

  11. Build and maintain ETL pipelines using relevant tools/frameworks.

  12. Azure Cloud (Mandatory Requirement)

  13. Hands-on experience with Azure services: Azure Data Lake, Azure ML, Databricks, Functions, etc.

  14. Deploy ML models on Azure ML; explain the deployment process.

  15. Familiarity with Azure Data Lake storage formats like Parquet, Delta.

  16. Power BI

  17. Create dashboards to deliver actionable insights.

  18. Comfortable writing DAX measures and creating interactive visuals.

  19. Architecture & System Thinking

  20. Design system/data architecture diagrams using Visio, , Lucidchart, or similar tools.

  21. Build end-to-end AI/ML pipelines: from data ingestion to model deployment.

  22. Production Deployment

  23. Deploy models from Jupyter Notebook to production using CI/CD pipelines and monitoring tools.

  24. Monitor and maintain model performance post-deployment.

  25. Preferred / Bonus Skills

  26. Experience with R programming language.

  27. Familiarity with Dynamics 365 CRM.
  28. Knowledge of AI agent services, Hugging Face, or LLM-based applications.
  29. Experience in government or enterprise-level projects.
