HSE Engineer Approved by ADNOC

We are seeking a qualified and experienced Health, Safety, and Environment (HSE) Engineer to join our team for a prominent Petroleum project in Abu Dhabi. The ideal candidate with a proven track record in the oil and gas industry, holding relevant qualifications in the field.

Responsibilities:

· Implement HSE Policies: Ensure the effective implementation of health, safety, and environment policies in compliance with local regulations and international standards.

· Risk Assessment: Conduct thorough risk assessments for various project activities, and develop strategies to mitigate identified risks.

· Incident Investigation: Lead investigations into incidents, accidents, and near misses, providing detailed reports and recommendations for preventive measures.

· Training and Awareness: Conduct HSE training programs for project personnel, fostering a culture of safety awareness and adherence.

· Regulatory Compliance: Stay abreast of changes in HSE regulations and standards, ensuring the project's continuous compliance.

· Emergency Response: Develop and maintain emergency response plans, conduct drills, and ensure the readiness of the team to respond to any HSE emergencies.

· Documentation: Maintain accurate HSE documentation, including incident reports, inspection records, and safety meeting minutes.

· Audit and Inspections: Conduct regular HSE audits and inspections, identifying areas for improvement and implementing corrective actions.

· Collaboration: Work closely with project management, engineering, and operational teams to integrate HSE considerations into project planning and execution.

Qualifications and Experience:

· Bachelor's degree/ Diploma in a relevant field (e.g., Environmental Engineering, Occupational Health and Safety, etc.).

· Minimum 6 years of experience in the oil and gas industry, with a focus on HSE management.

· Professional certifications in HSE are highly desirable.

· Strong understanding of Omani HSE regulations and industry best practices.

· Excellent communication and interpersonal skills.

· Proactive approach to identifying and addressing potential HSE issues.

· Job Type: Full Time / Permanent

· Salary: Will discuss during personal interview based on your work experience

· Annual Vacation: One month paid vacation after 12th month for the first year and after 11 month for the next years.

· Day Off: Sunday
