Role Description

We are hiring a full-time on-site Resident Engineer to join our team in Dubai, United Arab Emirates. The Resident Engineer will oversee construction projects, ensure compliance with safety and quality standards, and collaborate with architects, designers, contractors, and clients. Responsibilities include managing on-site construction activities, coordinating with stakeholders, reviewing designs and engineering plans, and providing technical guidance. The Resident Engineer will also monitor progress to ensure adherence to project timelines and specifications, addressing any challenges that arise during the construction phase.

Qualifications

  • Strong expertise in construction project management, including site coordination and scheduling.
  • Proficiency in interpreting architectural, structural, and engineering drawings.
  • Knowledge of quality control, safety regulations, and compliance standards specific to the UAE.
  • Effective communication and leadership skills to manage teams and liaise with clients and stakeholders.
  • Experience in using project management and engineering software tools.
  • Bachelor's degree in Civil Engineering or a related field; a professional engineering license is preferred.
  • Prior experience in the hospitality, commercial, or residential construction sectors is beneficial.
  • Problem-solving abilities to address on-site challenges and adapt to project needs.
