Zapegg Tax Consultant is looking for a detail-oriented and motivated Assistant Accountant to join our finance team in Dubai. This role is ideal for candidates who are passionate about accounting and eager to grow their career in a professional and dynamic financial services environment.

Key Responsibilities:

  • Assist in preparing daily financial entries, invoices, and payment vouchers.
  • Support the month-end and year-end closing processes.
  • Maintain accurate records of receipts, expenses, and financial transactions.
  • Assist in preparing financial statements and reports for internal review.
  • Coordinate with vendors, clients, and internal departments for billing and payment follow-ups.
  • Reconcile bank statements and ensure all financial data is up to date.
  • Support the senior accountant in audits, budgeting, and tax-related documentation.
  • Organize and maintain accounts-related files, documents, and digital records.
  • Ensure compliance with accounting standards and company policies.

Qualifications:

  • Bachelor's degree in Accounting, Finance, or a related field.
  • Minimum 1–2 years of experience in an accounting or finance role (UAE experience preferred).
  • Good knowledge of accounting principles and basic financial reporting.
  • Proficiency in MS Office and accounting software (Tally, QuickBooks, or similar).
  • Strong analytical, organizational, and communication skills.
  • Ability to work with accuracy and meet deadlines.
