Role Summary

The Warehouse Assistant will be responsible for handling daily warehouse activities, including receiving, picking, packing, organizing, and dispatching goods. The ideal candidate must be disciplined, physically fit, and able to work efficiently in a fast-paced environment.

Key Responsibilities

  • Receive, inspect, and store incoming materials and products.
  • Pick, pack, and prepare orders for dispatch.
  • Assist in loading and unloading shipments.
  • Maintain accurate stock levels and update inventory records.
  • Keep warehouse clean, organized, and compliant with safety standards.
  • Assist in regular stock counts and inventory audits.
  • Coordinate with the warehouse supervisor and logistics team for smooth operations.
  • Handle materials carefully to avoid damage or loss.

Requirements

  • Previous experience as a Warehouse Assistant, Storekeeper, or similar role preferred.
  • Basic understanding of warehouse operations and inventory control.
  • Ability to lift and move heavy items as required.
  • Strong attention to detail and ability to follow instructions.
  • Good communication and teamwork skills.
  • Physically fit and able to work in warehouse conditions.
  • Forklift or equipment handling experience is a plus.
