Job Summary
We are seeking a dedicated and experienced Vehicles Supervisor to oversee the daily operations of our company fleet. The role is essential in ensuring that all vehicles are maintained, compliant, and efficiently allocated to support smooth operations across all project sites and departments.
Key Responsibilities
- Supervise and coordinate the daily movement and allocation of company vehicles to sites and departments.
- Monitor vehicle usage, mileage, fuel consumption, and driver logs in accordance with company policies.
- Ensure timely servicing, maintenance, and repairs to minimize downtime and maintain operational readiness.
- Conduct routine inspections to ensure vehicles meet safety, cleanliness, and roadworthiness standards.
- Maintain accurate records for vehicle registration, insurance, permits, and renewal schedules.
- Manage driver assignments, schedules, and adherence to company driving and safety standards.
- Respond promptly to breakdowns or accidents and coordinate necessary support and reporting.
- Oversee fuel cards, Salik accounts, and related expenses to ensure proper control and documentation.
- Prepare daily, weekly, and monthly reports on fleet performance, maintenance, and operational issues.
- Ensure compliance with UAE traffic regulations, company HSE policies, and internal procedures.
- Support management in improving fleet efficiency and reducing operational costs.
- Coordinate onboarding of new vehicles and the removal or disposal of old units.
- Work closely with HR, Procurement, and Site Teams to meet operational requirements.
Qualifications
- Diploma or Bachelor's degree in a related field (preferred).
- 3–5 years of experience in fleet or vehicle supervision, ideally within the construction or contracting sector.
- Strong knowledge of UAE traffic laws and fleet management practices.
- Proficiency in MS Office and fleet management systems.
- Strong communication, coordination, and problem‑solving skills.
- Ability to work under pressure and manage multiple tasks effectively.
