Job Description
We are looking for an energetic and customer-focused Counter Sales Executive with experience in MEP building materials. The candidate will be responsible for handling walk-in customers, preparing quotations, and converting enquiries into sales while providing excellent customer service.
Key Responsibilities
- Handle walk-in customers at the counter professionally
- Understand customer requirements and suggest suitable MEP products
- Prepare quotations, sales orders, and invoices
- Coordinate with store and accounts teams for stock availability and billing
- Maintain product knowledge of plumbing, electrical, and MEP materials
- Achieve daily and monthly sales targets
- Maintain proper documentation and sales records
- Support showroom cleanliness and product display
Requirements
- Minimum 1–3 years experience in building materials / MEP counter sales
- Good knowledge of plumbing, HDPE, PPR, UPVC, valves, fittings, sanitary, electrical items
- Strong communication and customer-handling skills
- Basic computer knowledge (billing / ERP / MS Excel preferred)
- Ability to work under pressure and handle multiple customers
- English required (Hindi / Malayalam / Arabic is an advantage)
