Job Summary:

We are seeking a detail-oriented and experienced
MEP Estimator
to join our out team. The ideal candidate will be responsible for estimating Mechanical, Electrical, and Plumbing (MEP) works for interior fit-out projects, ensuring accuracy, competitiveness, and compliance with project specifications and industry standards.

Key Responsibilities:

  • Analyze drawings, specifications, BOQs, and other documents to prepare accurate MEP cost estimates for interior fit-out projects.
  • Coordinate with design, procurement, and project management teams to gather relevant project data.
  • Prepare detailed quantity take-offs for MEP services: HVAC, electrical, plumbing, fire-fighting, and ELV systems.
  • Request and analyze quotations from suppliers/subcontractors for MEP items.
  • Prepare cost breakdowns, rate analyses, and tender documents.
  • Participate in tender evaluations and value engineering processes.
  • Ensure compliance with local codes (e.g., IS codes, NBC, etc.) and industry best practices.
  • Attend site visits or pre-tender meetings when required to gather technical information.
  • Maintain and update a database of unit rates, suppliers, and subcontractors.
  • Support the commercial team during negotiations and post-tender clarifications.

Required Skills & Qualifications:

  • Degree/Diploma in Mechanical/Electrical Engineering.
  • Minimum 3 years' experience in MEP estimation, preferably in high-end construction projects.
  • Strong knowledge of HVAC, Electrical, Plumbing, and Fire Fighting systems.
  • Proficient in reading and interpreting MEP drawings.
  • Experience in estimation software like Bluebeam, PlanSwift, or AutoCAD (optional).
  • Good command over MS Excel, Word, and other Microsoft Office tools.
  • Familiarity with Indian MEP codes, standards, and local market rates.
  • Strong communication, analytical, and negotiation skills.
  • Ability to work under tight deadlines.
