Job Summary

We are seeking an experienced
OpenText Architect
to design, develop, and maintain enterprise-level OpenText Documentum solutions. The role involves architectural oversight, development, integration, and support of Enterprise Content Management Systems (ECMS) in a complex production environment. The ideal candidate will have strong technical expertise in OpenText technologies, workflow design, and system integration, along with hands-on experience in application support and performance optimization.

Key Responsibilities

Coding & Development Standards

• Design, develop, and maintain OpenText Documentum applications and systems
• Write clean, efficient, reusable, and well-documented code
• Participate in requirements analysis and system architecture design
• Debug, troubleshoot, and optimize application performance
• Conduct code reviews and ensure adherence to development best practices
• Collaborate with designers, product managers, and cross-functional technical teams
• Integrate third-party APIs and external services
• Stay current with emerging technologies, tools, and industry trends

Enterprise Content Management (ECM) Design

• Design and maintain XCP services and D2 workflows for Enterprise Content Management solutions
• Architect scalable, secure, and high-availability ECM platforms
• Ensure alignment with enterprise standards and business requirements

Application Support & Maintenance

• Manage and support enterprise applications including ECMS and related systems such as
  Emtithal 360
  and
  Digital Signature platforms
• Handle dependency mapping, logging, monitoring, and application lifecycle notifications
• Ensure system security compliance, including permission set creation and access control management
• Provide ongoing support, issue resolution, and performance tuning

Technical Oversight & Integration

• Participate in integration impact assessments for new and existing systems
• Support deployment planning and production releases
• Coordinate with stakeholders to ensure smooth system integration and minimal downtime

Required Skills & Experience

• Strong experience with
  OpenText Documentum

  , and
  D2
• Hands-on experience in enterprise application architecture and ECM solutions
• Proficiency in application support, troubleshooting, and performance optimization
• Experience with system integration, APIs, and production deployments
• Knowledge of security models, access controls, and compliance standards
• Strong communication and collaboration skills

The ideal candidate will be a qualified architect who is able to construct clear diagrams using AutoCAD. This candidate should have an in-depth knowledge of all steps related to project completion and diligently communicate with necessary people to ensure timely execution. This candidate should also be able to conduct quality assurance checks on a frequent basis in order to ensure regulations are being followed.

Responsibilities

• Create plans and drawings which clearly outline architectural design of project
• Utilize knowledge of engineering, math, science and materials in order to create ideal finished product
• Conduct site evaluations to ensure quality of work and adherence to safety standards
• Oversee and make recommendations throughout entire construction process
• Collaborate with various teams in order to establish goals, schedules and budgets

Qualifications

• Bachelor's degree in architecture
• 3+ years of experience in construction and architecture
• Strong organizational, creative and presentation skills
• Proficient in AutoCAD and Revit
