The G42 AI Function sits at the center of the group's AI agenda, shaping enterprise-wide AI strategy, priority use cases, partnerships, and investments. It plays a key role in defining where and how G42 builds, partners, or acquires AI capabilities, while ensuring alignment with national priorities, responsible AI principles, and global best practices.

Within this function, the AI Strategy & Partnerships team works closely with senior leadership, operating companies, and external partners to design and execute G42's AI growth strategy, structure strategic partnerships, support ecosystem development, and drive cross-group initiatives that scale AI impact across the organization.

Responsibilities
Academic partnership support

  • Support coordination with academic partners and research institutions.
  • Assist with day-to-day communication and information exchange.
  • Maintain records of active partnerships and contacts.

Joint research tracking

  • Track joint research projects, milestones, and deliverables.
  • Collect structured updates from academic partners and internal teams.
  • Maintain up-to-date trackers and research inventories.

Fellowship and internship support

  • Support administration of fellowship and internship programs.
  • Assist with onboarding, scheduling, and coordination of fellows and interns.
  • Track participation, outputs, and timelines.

Research summaries and evaluation support

  • Support preparation of research summaries and technical evaluations.
  • Assist in reviewing research outputs such as papers, models, and code.
  • Help organize evaluation materials for internal review.

Workshops and research forum support

  • Support organization of workshops, seminars, and research forums.
  • Assist with agenda preparation, logistics, and follow-up documentation.
  • Capture key takeaways and action items.

Qualifications
Required qualifications

  • Bachelor's or Master's degree in AI, Machine Learning, Computer Science, or related field.
  • 2–4 years experience in AI research support or academia–industry collaboration.
  • Familiarity with AI research literature and terminology.
  • Strong organizational and coordination skills.

Expected profile

  • Detail-oriented and execution-focused.
  • Comfortable supporting multiple research activities in parallel.
  • Able to understand and summarize technical research content.
  • Reliable and responsive in follow-through.
