Job Overview
The Senior Policy Administration Officer is responsible for managing the full policy administration lifecycle, ensuring timely and accurate processing of onboarding, servicing, billing, endorsements, renewals, cancellations, collections, and policy updates.
This role ensures compliance with UAE regulatory requirements, operational accuracy, high-quality service delivery, and efficient workflow management. The position also supports audits, UAT cycles, SOP development, and continuous improvement to enhance operational control and efficiency. The role reports to the Head of Policy Management.

Key Responsibilities
Policy Administration & Operational Delivery
- Oversee end-to-end policy lifecycle: issuance, onboarding, endorsements, renewals, reinstatements, cancellations, billing, and collections.
- Monitor daily processing activities and maintain coordination across underwriting, sales, claims, customer service, reinsurance, and finance teams.
- Ensure SLAs and TATs are consistently achieved across all policy administration workflows.
- Reconcile premium transactions with Finance and validate AR/AP postings and commission calculations.
- Maintain accurate policy data, system updates, and documentation for regulatory readiness.
Compliance & Reporting
- Ensure compliance with UAE regulatory requirements (CBUAE, DOH/DHA/MOHAP, AML/KYC where applicable).
- Prepare and submit operational, performance, and compliance reports as required.
- Support internal/external audits and regulatory inspections by preparing documentation and executing corrective action plans.
Process Management & Systems
- Develop and update SOPs for all policy management workflows, ensuring accuracy and internal control.
- Lead User Acceptance Testing (UAT) for new system features, enhancements, and fixes.
- Identify opportunities for process improvements, automation, and operational efficiency.
- Support business continuity through accurate documentation and workflow management.
Stakeholder Management
- Maintain effective communication and coordination with brokers, clients, and internal teams.
- Resolve escalations and ensure high service quality.
- Train and guide junior staff in systems, processes, and documentation standards.
Qualifications & Experience
- Bachelor's degree in Business Administration, Insurance, Finance, or related field.
- Minimum 5 years of UAE insurance experience in policy administration, onboarding, billing, or related operational functions.
- Strong understanding of UAE insurance regulations and operational best practices.
Skills & Competencies
- Strong experience with Policy Administration Systems (PAS).
- Demonstrated UAT execution and process documentation skills.
- Strong English communication skills; Arabic is an advantage.
- High attention to detail and ability to work under pressure.
- Strong interpersonal skills and ability to collaborate across teams.
- Proficiency in MS Office and insurance system tools.
- Analytical mindset with strong problem-solving ability.
