We are seeking a reliable and skilled chef de partie to join our events catering team. The ideal candidate will be responsible for preparing high-quality canapés, sandwich bites, savoury bites, and sweet bites for a variety of functions and events. This role is essential in ensuring our guests receive beautifully presented, delicious, and safely prepared food.

Key Responsibilities:

  • Prepare a variety of canapés, sandwich bites, savoury bites, and sweet bites according to event menus and standards
  • Ensure all food is prepared to a high standard of quality, flavour, and presentation
  • Follow strict hygiene, food safety, and sanitation practices at all times
  • Assist with kitchen organisation, stock rotation, and maintaining clean workstations
  • Communicate effectively with Management and wider kitchen team
  • Work efficiently to meet event deadlines and volume requirements
  • Support with other kitchen duties as needed

Requirements:

  • Previous experience in food preparation, catering, or a similar kitchen role required
  • Strong understanding of food hygiene and safety regulations
  • Good communication skills and ability to follow instructions
  • Reliable, punctual, and able to work well under pressure
  • Attention to detail with a passion for quality and presentation
  • Ability to work both independently and as part of a team
