About Your Team

You'll report to the
Design Manager
, working alongside subcontractors, consultants, and internal project teams to manage end-to-end design coordination. You'll play a key role in ensuring timely, accurate, and high-quality design submittals across the entire lifecycle of the project.

Your Role

As a
Design Coordinator
, you will:

  • Plan and manage the design schedule in alignment with the project timeline.
  • Review, track, and coordinate drawing submittals from subcontractors.
  • Raise, respond to, and track technical queries and design clarifications.
  • Ensure drawing accuracy, quality, and integration with relevant information.
  • Review coordinated drawings with draftsmen and ensure compliance.
  • Support with authority submissions and site logistics layouts.
  • Coordinate feedback from consultants and ensure timely resolutions.
  • Provide regular progress updates and look-ahead reports to the Design Manager.
  • Assist in reviewing redline and as-built drawings for completeness.

What We're Looking For

Experience:

  • Minimum 8 years of experience in design coordination, preferably with
    contractors specialising in high-end fit-out projects in the region
    .

Knowledge & Expertise:

  • Degree or diploma in Engineering, Architecture, or a related field.
  • Strong proficiency in AutoCAD and MS Office.
  • Familiarity with design software such as Staad, Prokon, or Etabs.
  • Ability to interpret technical drawings and design calculations.
  • Knowledge of Adobe Acrobat for markups and annotations.

  • Excellent planning, coordination, and communication skills.
  • Detail-focused with strong problem-solving abilities.
  • Skilled in stakeholder management and technical follow-up.
