We Are Hiring Urgently Driver Cum SiteTechnician

National Laboratory are now recruiting a Laboratory Technician to join our teams based at our UAE offices. You will be carrying out a range of site and laboratory tests in the field of Soil and Concrete, generates test data and concept-reports within deadlines and propose improvements based on his/ her experience of research methods and quality systems. Subsequently, the Tech is required to coordinate with the team members and technician and do the right test procedures based on BS Standard and the right policies.

This role provides operational and planning support to the Laboratory Teams, and our onsite technical teams.

Job Responsibilities

· Main responsibility: to provide exceptional knowledge sharing when it comes to soil and concrete material testing while having integrity in the core of our values, for our internal and external stakeholders and create a positive first impression for clients, visitors, and stakeholders, fostering trust, professionalism, and efficiency in all interactions.

·Perform laboratory testing in the field of soil and concrete and processing of laboratory test results.

· Check, assess, report and finalize laboratory test results conducted by in-house, offshore and third-party laboratories.

·Ensure the process conforms to client, statutory and management system requirements.

·Train technicians in the theoretical aspect of soil laboratory testing.

·Inform / alert the Laboratory Manager of any discrepancy in testing procedures.

·Implement policies, procedures and programs to maintain safety and health at the workplace.

·Create software application templates for data processing.

·Perform other Laboratory related operations as and when required.

·Perform day to day updates with the department head

·Daily / Monthly / Annual progress reporting.

·Manage maintain all required daily (Maintenance / Claibration / Operations / Etc ..)records and collaborate with QAQC to ensure that the lab you're responsible for is complying with our QAQC / EIAC / Municipality policies.

Job Requirement

Diploma in Civil Engineering / Geology

Minimum 3 years of experience in similar engineering environment.

Relevant experience in soil / concrete testing industry.

Good analytical ability, organizational and time management skills.

Have a logical approach to work and provide high quality technical support to customers and multiple internal stakeholders.

Self-driven, possess excellent team spirit and good interpersonal skills.

Proficient in MS office applications.

Willing to work for offshore site investigation work if required.

Highly organized and able to do multiple tasks at the same time without dropping any.

Able to work independently and under pressure, good communication skills.
