We are seeking a knowledgeable and proactive Senior Functional Consultant for HREX (Human Resource Information System) to join our team. In this role, you will be responsible for driving the successful implementation, configuration, and optimization of the HREX HRIS system. You will work closely with HR teams and stakeholders to understand business requirements and ensure that the HREX system is configured to meet the needs of the organization, driving efficiency, automation, and data-driven decision-making.

Consulting & Solution Design
:

  • Collaborate with HR and IT teams to gather and understand business requirements for HR processes and workflows.
  • Design and configure the HREX HRIS solution to align with client requirements, focusing on core HR functions such as recruitment, onboarding, payroll, performance management, and employee records.
  • Provide expertise on HRIS best practices, ensuring the system is set up to support compliance, improve user experience, and streamline HR operations.

Implementation & Configuration
:

  • Lead the end-to-end implementation of HREX, ensuring successful system setup, data migration, integration with other systems, and testing.
  • Guide clients through the configuration of HREX modules based on their specific HR processes, policies, and regulatory requirements.
  • Oversee the user acceptance testing (UAT) process to ensure the solution meets client expectations.

System Optimization & Support
:

  • Provide ongoing support and system optimization for clients post-implementation, ensuring HREX is functioning at peak performance.
  • Troubleshoot and resolve any system issues, working closely with technical teams when needed.
  • Recommend process improvements and new features that could enhance the client's HR operations, driving greater value from the system.

Business Process Improvement
:

  • Analyze current HR processes and workflows, identifying opportunities for automation, efficiency, and optimization using HREX features.
  • Collaborate with clients to re-engineer HR processes for maximum impact, leveraging HRIS functionality to reduce administrative overhead and improve HR service delivery.

Training & Documentation
:

  • Develop and deliver user training to ensure successful adoption of HREX by HR teams and end-users.
  • Create and maintain training materials, user guides, and system documentation to support ongoing use and troubleshooting of HREX.
  • Provide continuous training and support to ensure users remain proficient in utilizing the system's capabilities.

Client Engagement & Relationship Management
:

  • Serve as the primary point of contact for clients during the HREX implementation and support phases, ensuring effective communication and alignment with business goals.
  • Build and maintain strong relationships with clients, acting as a trusted advisor on HR technology solutions.
  • Identify opportunities for system enhancements and additional functionality, helping clients continuously improve their HR operations.

Project Management & Leadership
:

  • Lead project teams through the implementation of HREX, managing timelines, resources, and budgets effectively.
  • Coordinate with internal technical teams, HR teams, and third-party vendors to ensure successful system deployment.
  • Mentor junior consultants and team members, fostering a collaborative and growth-oriented environment.

Continuous Improvement & Innovation
:

  • Stay up to date with the latest features and best practices in HRIS technology, particularly within HREX.
  • Advocate for the adoption of new HRIS features, integrations, and tools that can further enhance business operations.
  • Contribute to internal knowledge sharing and process improvements to improve the overall effectiveness of the team.

Education
:

  • Bachelor's degree in Human Resources, Information Systems, Business Administration, or a related field.
  • HRIS certifications or related training (e.g., HREX, Workday, SAP SuccessFactors, etc.) are a plus.

Experience
:

  • 5+ years of experience working with HRIS systems, particularly HREX or similar HR platforms.
  • Experience in HR consulting, with a focus on system configuration, implementation, and optimization.
  • Proven experience in implementing HRIS solutions and working closely with HR departments to drive process improvement.

Technical Skills
:

  • Strong knowledge of HRIS systems and their modules, including payroll, recruiting, performance management, and employee records.
  • Experience integrating HRIS with other enterprise systems (e.g., finance, CRM, etc.).
  • Basic understanding of data migration, SQL, and reporting tools is a plus.

Soft Skills
:

  • Excellent analytical, problem-solving, and troubleshooting skills.
  • Strong communication and presentation abilities, with the capacity to convey technical concepts to non-technical stakeholders.
  • Ability to work collaboratively with clients, project teams, and cross-functional departments.
  • Leadership capabilities to manage projects and mentor junior consultants.
  • Detail-oriented with the ability to manage multiple priorities in a fast-paced environment.
