About the Company

Our client is a leading organization specializing in ELV (Extra Low Voltage) technology, operating under a UAE & UK mixed group. The ELV division was established in 2023 and is currently expanding its operations. The company is now looking to hire an Accountant to support its growing activities in Sharjah.

Job Summary

The Accountant will be responsible for day-to-day accounting operations, financial record maintenance, verification of OPEX and CAPEX, and monthly financial reporting to management. The role requires coordination with Sales and other departments for payment follow-ups, monitoring receivables and payables, and ensuring timely settlement of supplier dues.

Key Responsibilities

  • Record and manage day-to-day accounting transactions in the system.
  • Prepare monthly, quarterly, and annual financial reports for management.
  • Verify and validate OPEX and CAPEX expenditures.
  • Monitor accounts payable and ensure timely payments to suppliers as per agreed terms.
  • Coordinate with Sales, Operations, and Management teams to follow up on customer payments.
  • Reconcile ledgers, bank accounts, and supplier/customer statements.
  • Assist in budgeting, forecasting, and cost analysis when required.
  • Ensure compliance with UAE accounting standards, company policies, and audit requirements.
  • Maintain organized documentation of financial records and support documents.
  • Perform any additional tasks or responsibilities assigned by management.

Qualifications & Requirements

  • Bachelor's Degree in Accounting, Finance, or a related field (higher qualifications preferred).
  • 2–3 years of accounting experience, preferably in ELV, IT, engineering, or related industries.
  • Proficiency in Odoo, QuickBooks, Tally, or equivalent accounting software.
  • Strong understanding of accounting principles and financial analysis.
  • Excellent communication skills in English (mandatory).
  • Strong attention to detail, organizational skills, and ability to meet deadlines.
  • Ability to work independently and collaborate with cross-functional teams.
