Key Responsibilities

  • Conduct opening and closing procedures for assigned shifts.
  • Inspect guest rooms including departures, stayovers, and vacant rooms to ensure brand-level cleanliness and readiness.
  • Supervise room attendants, provide guidance, correct deviations, and hand over ready rooms promptly.
  • Manage VIP and special guest requirements before arrival.
  • Deliver daily briefings and conduct 15-minute training sessions for housekeeping associates.
  • Coordinate team training, maintain training records, and support hotel standards measurement.
  • Report maintenance issues and ensure occupied rooms are serviced before 15:00 hours.
  • Uphold Do Not Disturb procedures and proper shift handover routines.
  • Support inventory checks, deep cleaning schedules, and curtain changes.
  • Ensure guest requests are completed efficiently.
  • Maintain tidy service rooms, clean corridors, and organized trolleys.
  • Monitor lost and found procedures according to hotel standards.
  • Ensure correct usage of cleaning chemicals and adherence to health and safety regulations.
  • Record and report damaged fixtures or hazards in rooms and public areas.
  • Attend training courses, follow hotel security guidelines, and support evacuation procedures when required.
  • Promote teamwork, maintain guest satisfaction, and resolve complaints quickly.
