We are seeking a highly skilled Finance Manager to oversee and strengthen the financial operations of our trading company in Dubai. This role goes beyond accounting — we need a strategic leader who can ensure compliance, optimize financial performance, and guide our finance team toward excellence.
Key Responsibilities
Finance Operations Management:
- Oversee day-to-day finance and accounting operations.
- Supervise banks, accounts payable (AP), accounts receivable (AR), general ledger, and payroll.
- Ensure timely closure of accounts and preparation of monthly, quarterly, and annual financial statements.
Compliance & Controls
- Ensure compliance with statutory requirements (VAT, Corporate Tax, WPS, etc.).
- Develop and implement finance policies, SOPs, and internal control frameworks.
- Coordinate external audits and manage audit-related documentation.
- Monitor adherence to company policies and risk management guidelines.
Strategic Financial Planning
- Develop budgets, forecasts, and financial plans; perform variance analysis.
- Oversee cash flow management, liquidity planning, banking relationships, and payment cycles.
- Conduct financial analysis to support business decisions, new projects, and cost optimization.
Leadership & Team Development
- Lead, train, and mentor the finance team.
- Allocate workload effectively and ensure high-quality deliverables.
- Review and approve journal entries, reconciliations, and financial transactions.
Qualifications & Skills
- Bachelor's degree in Finance, Accounting, or related field (Master's or professional certification such as CPA, ACCA, CMA preferred)
- Minimum 7–10 years of progressive finance experience, with at least 3 years in a managerial role.
- Strong knowledge of UAE statutory requirements (VAT, Corporate Tax, WPS).
- Proven experience in general trading or import/export industries.
- Excellent leadership, analytical, and communication skills.
- Ability to balance hands-on financial management with strategic oversight.
