About The Role
BIM Coordinator who will lead the BIM development within acting as the intermediary between designers, clients and architects so that projects remain efficient and effective.

Key responsibilities and duties are listed, but not limited to, the below:

• Primarily working on Revit structural in creating 3D models and 2D drawings for general arrangement, sections, reinforcement detailing of concrete /steel buildings.
• Support Developing and executing BIM strategies on projects.
• Liaising with Project BIM Managers for project delivery.
• Lead model coordination between all disciplines and support coordination with all other disciplines (MEP, Architect, Landscape, ID, Structures, Civil etc)
• Delivering projects on CDE platforms such as BIM 360, ProjectWise, Aconex.
• Ensure Project Information Model (PIM) are delivered in accordance with the agreed TIDP, MIDP, LoIN, BEP, CDE and Clients requirements.
• Ensuring that BIM execution plans are adhered to for each project
• Conducting Coordination, Clash Analysis and visual walkthroughs using Navisworks Manage.
• 3D Model Quantity Extraction / Verification
• 4D Scheduling / Simulation using Autodesk
• Ensure QAQC is undertaken on all project files – manage the teams.
• Undertake high level QAQC on all BIM Models and complete verification.
• Supporting and auditing the project models and identifying non-compliances.
• Taking ownership of the BIM templates and creating families for design teams
• Training or upskilling colleagues in specific software programmes
• Producing monthly reports for senior managers, to identify and measure BIM implementation.

Candidate Specification

• Bachelor's Degree in Engineering and / or equivalent
• Knowledge of information Standards ISO Parts 1 & 2 as a minimum), PAS 1192, BS1192 and experience of implementation of such processes.
• Specialist knowledge in the implementation, use and development of Building Information Modeling (BIM), Computer Aided Design (CAD)
• Experience in software - Revit, Civil 3D, Navisworks, Dynamo, MS suite, AutoCAD
• Keeping up-to-date with advancements in building technology
• Collaborating with Design leads to find solutions and drive change
• Driving the implementation of digital information plans and strategies
• Leading meetings to identify project tasks and resolve issues
• Supporting the career development, coaching and mentoring of a team of staff
• Raising the profile of BIM across the sectors and practices
• Adhering to the latest industry standards.
