Main Function

The QA/QC Manager will be responsible for implementing and monitoring quality management systems to ensure that all construction INFRASTRUCTURE activities comply with regulatory standards, project specifications, and client requirements.

Duties and Responsibilities

Responsibilities:

  • Develop, implement, and maintain project-specific QA/QC plans in accordance with company policies, international standards (ISO 9001), and client specifications.
  • Supervise the QA/QC team and coordinate inspection activities across all stages of construction (civil, structural, mechanical, and electrical works).
  • Conduct regular site inspections and audits to ensure compliance with quality standards and procedures.
  • Liaise with contractors, subcontractors, consultants, and client representatives to resolve quality-related issues.
  • Ensure proper documentation and traceability of quality records, inspection test plans (ITPs), material submittals, and non-conformance reports (NCRs).
  • Review and approve method statements, quality control procedures, and test results submitted by contractors.
  • Monitor and report on the performance of the quality management system and suggest improvements where necessary.
  • Participate in risk assessment and mitigation related to quality issues.
  • Provide training and awareness to staff and subcontractors on quality standards and best practices.
  • Prepare and present QA/QC reports to senior management and clients.

Qualifications and Education Requirements

§ Bachelor's degree in Civil Engineering, Construction Management, or a related field.

§ Minimum of 15 years of experience in QA/QC roles in large-scale infrastructure projects.

§ In-depth knowledge of construction quality standards, codes, and regulations.

§ Proficient in QA/QC software and tools, and Microsoft Office Suite.

§ Certification in Quality Management Systems (ISO 9001 Lead Auditor preferred).

Preferred Skills

§ Strong leadership, communication, and problem-solving skills.

§ Ability to manage multiple priorities and work effectively under pressure.

§ Familiarity with HSE requirements and how they integrate with quality control.

Job Type: Full-time

Pay: AED18, AED22,000.00 per month
