**Key Responsibilities**:

- Conduct daily safety inspections within the workshop to identify potential hazards.
- Ensure compliance with workplace safety standards and company policies.
- Enforce the proper use of personal protective equipment (PPE).
- Record and report all incidents, near-misses, and unsafe conditions.
- Support investigations of workshop-related incidents to determine root causes and recommend corrective actions.
- Assist in conducting safety inductions for new employees and contractors.
- Organize toolbox talks and safety drills specific to workshop activities.
- Identify and report unsafe practices, equipment, or conditions in the workshop.
- Participate in risk assessments and recommend mitigation strategies for high-risk activities, such as welding, lifting, and equipment operation.
- Monitor the safe handling, storage, and disposal of hazardous materials (e.g., paints, solvents, oils).
- Ensure compliance with environmental policies and guidelines.
- Maintain accurate records of inspections, incidents, and corrective actions taken.
- Assist in updating safety manuals, checklists, and emergency response plans specific to workshop operations.
- Ensure all workshop equipment and machinery comply with safety standards.
- Report any defective tools or machinery and ensure they are taken out of service until repaired.

**Qualifications**:

- Diploma or degree in Occupational Health and Safety, Mechanical Engineering, or a related field.
- Basic knowledge of workshop operations and associated safety hazards.
- Relevant certifications (e.g., NEBOSH IGC, IOSH, or equivalent) are an advantage.

**Skills**:

- Attention to detail and strong observation skills.
- Familiarity with workshop hazards, such as welding, grinding, and lifting operations.
- Basic understanding of HSE regulations (e.g., OSHA, ISO 45001).
- Excellent communication skills to engage with workers and supervisors effectively.
- Ability to work under pressure and respond promptly to safety concerns.

Pay: AED2,000.00 - AED3,000.00 per month

**Education**:

- Primary (preferred)

**Experience**:

- HSE: 1 year (preferred)
- UAE: 1 year (preferred)

License/Certification:

- HSE Related Certificates NEBOSH/IOSH (preferred)
