**Job Title**: Mental Maths and Abacus Trainer

**Job Type**: Part-time / Contract
**Location**: Online / Onsite - Sharjah

**Job Summary**

We are looking for a passionate and skilled **Mental Maths and Abacus Trainer** to join our team. You will be responsible for teaching children the fundamentals of mental arithmetic and abacus techniques, helping them improve their numerical ability, concentration, memory, and overall cognitive skills. This role requires creating interactive, age-appropriate lessons, tracking progress, and fostering a love for mathematics through engaging and fun learning methods.

**Key Responsibilities**
- Plan, prepare, and deliver high-quality Mental Maths and Abacus lessons for assigned age groups.
- Introduce students to the fundamentals of the abacus and advance them to complex calculation techniques.
- Teach speed and accuracy in arithmetic using mental calculation strategies.
- Create customized lesson plans for different learning styles and paces.
- Conduct practice drills, competitions, and assessments to monitor progress.
- Maintain a positive, encouraging learning environment that promotes participation.
- Provide constructive feedback to students and parents on performance and improvement areas.
- Ensure proper handling and maintenance of abacus tools and teaching materials.
- Stay updated with the latest mental math techniques and teaching strategies.
- Assist in organizing student showcases, competitions, and workshops.

**Requirements & Qualifications**
- Proven experience as a Mental Maths or Abacus Trainer (or similar teaching role).
- Certification in Abacus Training (preferred, not mandatory).
- Strong mathematical skills and passion for teaching.
- Excellent communication and presentation skills.
- Ability to work patiently and effectively with children.
- Creative approach to designing engaging lessons and interactive activities.
- Familiarity with online teaching platforms (for virtual classes).

**Work Schedule**
