The Job Opportunity
To ensure satisfactory completion of the allocated planned and reactive maintenance, fault diagnosis and remedial repairs on the Plumbing services and its associated equipment, for all plant and systems contained.

Key accountabilities Carry out the planned and reactive maintenance of storage tanks, sanitary ware, fixtures and fittings (taps, showers, thermostatic mixer valves, cisterns and others) domestic hot and cold-water system, pipework, drainage system, water treatment systems, including pumps and valves of all types and water based firefighting systems. Monitor, top-up, flush, adjust, rectify and /or repair water treatment systems, domestic hot and cold-water systems and maintain and update records on a daily basis. Assist in monitoring water consumption, collation of consumption figures, and update records as required. To integrate and communicate effectively with other trade staff (Electrical, Mechanical and Civil) as required. Maintain up to date knowledge for the safe and efficient performance of all duties.

Specific requirements
Minimum three (3) years of experience as plumber in a commercial buildings or hospital or other facilities management building services engineering environment. P r o f i cient and ab l e to de m on s t r ate a c o m p l ete understanding of P lu m b i ng s y ste m s throughout. T e c hn i ca l ly c o m petent w ith a c lear te c hn i cal understandi n g of bu i ld i ngs Plu m b i ng s er v ices and asso c iated equip m ent.
Good English language skills both written and oral. P h y s i c al l y f i t a n d co n sc i e ntio u s. Und e r s ta n ding of p l a n n e d a n d pre v e n t a t i v e m a i nt e n a nce p r i n c i ples.
At least holder of High School Diploma. M u s t h o l d r e l e v a nt a nd re c o g ni z ed q u a li f i c a t i o n s i n th e d i sci pl i ne, or e q u i v a l e n t.
