**Responsible for**

A insulation worker covers pipes, tankers and ductwork with insulating material and metal cladding. Insulation worker has to work to keep heat in - in the case of heating systems - or to keep heat out - in the case of refrigeration or air conditioning systems. Known as pipework laggers.
- Based on factory plans and layouts to ensure where insulation materials need to be fitted especially piping and tankers.
- Choosing the most appropriate materials and calculating the volumes required.
- Outlining specific recommendations to clients and explaining how these solutions might better conserve energy.
- Preparing and cleaning the surfaces to be insulated.
- Measuring and cutting insulation materials to size and shape.
- Installing insulation materials, using clips, adhesives and tapes to fit them into place.
- Sealing or boxing in the insulated area with sheet metal or another strong material to protect it from the weather or mechanical damage.
- Maintaining and repairing existing insulation.
- Perform to keep thermal on piping and tanker.

**Job Requirement**
- Diploma or training certificate with thermal insulation experience
- Must have work experience in related position.
- Practical, with good manual skills.
- Able to solve problems logically.
- Have good numerical skills for measuring and calculating quantities of materials.
- Co-operative team workers.
- Comfortable working in confined spaces and at heights.
- Aware of safe working practices.
- Reasonably fit with no respiratory problems.
- Reliable and flexible in their approach to work.

**Salary**: From AED3,000.00 per month

Ability to commute/relocate:

- Abu Dhabi: Reliably commute or planning to relocate before starting work (required)
