**Job Summary**:
**Duties and responsibilities**:

- Welding and Fabrication: Perform MIG, TIG, and/or Arc welding on various metals to create strong and precise joints according to specifications.
- Blueprint Interpretation: Read and interpret blueprints, schematics, and diagrams to determine the correct welding processes and requirements
- Material Preparation: Prepare materials for welding by cutting, grinding, and shaping metal parts. Measuring and cutting materials to specifications. Welding materials using the correct materials to join the metals together
- Quality Control: Inspect completed welds to ensure they meet the specified standards and criteria, making adjustments as necessary. Checking finished work to make sure that it falls within the tolerances marked on the blueprints.
- Equipment Maintenance: Maintain welding equipment and tools, performing regular inspections and minor repairs to ensure optimal performance.
- Safety Compliance: Adhere to all safety guidelines and protocols, wearing appropriate personal protective equipment (PPE) and maintaining a clean and organized work area. Also maintain certifications
- Collaboration: Work closely with other team members and departments to ensure project timelines and goals are met.

**Skills and qualifications**:

- Excellent communication skills, both verbal and written
- Ability to read blueprints
- Knowledge of metallurgy
- Knowledge of various welding techniques, including TIG, MIG, ARC, AND Normal Welding
- Knowledge of manual and mechanical welding techniques

- Welding & Cutting: 10-15 year (required)
