**Responsibilities**:

- Always provides courteous and professional service
- Understands and is aware of all fire and safety procedures
- Attends the training sessions conducted by the department trainers and in the training department
- To protect all types of garments from damage, shrinkage and color fading
- Responsible in identifying the laundering process based on care label
- Is knowledgeable and able to operate all the laundry machineries; able to load and unload the washing machines, dryers and dry-cleaning machines
- Inspects clothing prior to laundering and reports for any items found in pockets or if any damages on garments
- Ensures that the guest laundry, dry cleaning and pressing are collected and returned as quickly and efficiently as possible based on the preferred timing
- Responsible in quality checking of garments prior to washing, dry cleaning, drying, ironing and folding process
- Keeps records of laundry pickup, delivery and special instructions of guest garments in designated logbooks
- Responsible in creating laundry requisitions for guest supplies, stationery, chemicals etc. for Laundry Supervisor’s approval
- Keeps work areas, equipment and the laundry carts clean, neat and safe condition at all time
- Is presentable and always carry’s a smile and greets the guest before the guest greets
- To carry out any other duties as requested by the Housekeeping Management
- Maintains and controls the consumption of cleaning materials and manage the stock level of cleaning supplies

**QUALIFICATIONS**

**Essential**:

- Secondary school graduate
- Minimum one year work experience in a 5* hotel or in an industrial laundry
- Proficiency in spoken and written English

**Desirable**:

- Higher secondary graduate
- International experience, working with culturally diverse team
