**ROLE**
- Caregiver is responsible for facilitating the flow of admissions /discharge/transfer and other related activities in liaison with Registered Nurse.
- Arranges appointment for investigation, follow up’s and review.
- Ensures all patients are charged for supplies and procedures in hospital information system for final billing.
- Coordinates the telephone enquiries and inform the concerned person.
- Assists the Nurse Manager / Nurse Incharge for office work and coordination.
- Promotes and displays a professional verbal and non-verbal communications.
- Consistently communicates in an effective and courteous manner and maintains all aspects of confidentiality.
- Promotes positive relations with other disciplines/departments.
- Coordinates the activities with the unit to work in an organized manner without any delay for meeting the needs of internal and external customer.

**PATIENT CARE UNDER SUPERVISION OF RN**
- Manual handling and ergonomics
- Transport and assist the patient from OT, Lab, and Interdepartmental
- Shifting’s
- Perform and helps the patient in hygiene care of bathing and grooming
- Assist patients who needs help in walking and Daily Activities
- Attend call bells and communicates patients’ needs to Registered Nurse
- Assist Registered Nurse in Patient care.
- Help patient to changes position in bed as per the requirement.
- Changing bed linens and ensuring the room clean and tidy.

**GENERAL REQUIREMENTS**
- Perform duties according to the hospital policies.
- Perform duties within the scope of practice.
- Maintain infection control principles in everyday practice.
- Maintain safe working environment.
- Follows International Patient Safety goals.
- Participation at unit meetings.

The post holder will work collaboratively with other team members, will uphold and live the NMC Nursing Strategy in order to provide safe and outstanding care to their patient, relatives, friends and significant others all the time, every time.

Diploma/bachelor’s degree in nursing (BSN).
