- Use data to evaluate the Arabic department, teachers, and student performance.
- Liaise with the Inclusion Team to improve and develop the provision for students with additional learning requirements, across the school.
- Work with the Digital Innovation Team to promote the use of technologies in enhancing and deepening students’ learning experiences.
- Help lead communication across the school so that all middle leaders, teachers, and learning assistants feel well-informed and knowledgeable about the school’s vision and journey.
- Chair and participate in regular meetings with the Arabic Team to help drive school improvement.
- Be aware of and support the well-being needs of the Arabic team.
- Identify training needs and liaise with the Head of Arabic studies and SLT, as appropriate, to meet needs and review the impact of any training.
- Help oversee the provision of assemblies, ECAs, educational trips, and other school events.
- Ensure SZPA policies, procedures, and codes of conduct are followed by self and Arabic staff at all times.
- Deputize for the Head of Arabic Studies as required.

Position Requirements:

- A minimum of 5 years Arabic language/secondary teaching experience.
- Minimum of IELTS 6 or equivalent.
- A clean enhanced Disclosure and Barring Services check or police check.
