**Roles and Responsibilities**:

- QHSE Compliance: Ensure full compliance with QHSE policies, regulations, and standards in all aspects of plant operations and activities.
- Implement and enforce QHSE protocols and practices, fostering a culture of safety and environmental responsibility.
- BCM Integration: Integrate BCM principles into the plant's operational strategies, ensuring preparedness for emergencies, crises, and business disruptions.
- Operational Efficiency: Optimize plant operations to enhance efficiency, productivity, and safety, while aligning with QHSE and BCM guidelines.
- Team Management: Supervise and manage the plant team, providing leadership, training, and guidance to ensure adherence to QHSE policies and operational excellence.
- Regulatory Compliance: Stay updated with, interpret, and ensure compliance with all relevant laws, regulations, and permits related to waste management and plant operations.
- Emergency Response and Preparedness: Develop and maintain effective emergency response and preparedness plans, aligning with BCM principles to ensure business continuity during emergencies.
- Environmental Responsibility: Implement measures to minimize the environmental impact of plant operations, including proper waste handling and disposal, in accordance with QHSE guidelines.

**Accountabilities**:

- QHSE and BCM Accountability: Be accountable for QHSE and BCM compliance within the plant, ensuring that operations meet the required standards, guidelines, and continuity plans.
- Operational Efficiency and Safety Accountability: Be accountable for the efficiency, safety, and productivity of plant operations, fostering a culture of continuous improvement.
- Regulatory Compliance Accountability: Be accountable for ensuring that the plant adheres to all relevant laws, permits, and regulations related to waste management, safety, and environmental practices.

**Qualifications**:
1) Master of Engineering / Science or equivalent with 5-10 yrs of experience Medical and Hazardous waste management (Rotary Kiln incinerator)

2) Certificate in Plant Maintenance or Operation preferred.

3) Process management

4) Good understanding of regulatory requirements for operating plants

5) Strong aptitude for root cause analysis and troubleshooting operational issues

7) Excellent verbal and written communication skills

8) Strong leadership and managerial attributes. Exceptional organizational and time‐management skills

**Education**:

- Master's (required)

**Experience**:

- Rotary Kiln Incinerators: 5 years (required)
