**About the job**

**Role Overview**:
The Head of Technology will be responsible for the strategic oversight and leadership of our technology initiatives within the fintech sector. The Head of Technology will play a critical role in defining our technological vision and ensuring the successful implementation of innovative solutions that drive growth and efficiency. This executive position demands a deep understanding of financial technology and the ability to lead a diverse team of IT professionals.

**Key Responsibilities**:

- Develop and execute the company’s technology strategy to align with business goals and drive innovation in the fintech sector.
- Oversee the architecture, design, and implementation of fintech solutions.
- Lead, mentor, and manage the technology team, fostering a culture of excellence, collaboration, and continuous improvement.
- Ensure the reliability, scalability, and security of technology platforms and systems.
- Collaborate with other executives and stakeholders to identify opportunities for technology-driven business growth and operational efficiency.
- Stay abreast of industry trends, emerging technologies, and regulatory changes to guide the company’s technological advancements.
- Establish and manage relationships with technology vendors and partners to enhance the company’s technological capabilities.
- Develop and manage the technology budget, ensuring cost-effective allocation of resources.
- Implement best practices for software development, project management, and quality assurance.

**Qualifications**:

- Bachelor’s degree in Computer Science, Information Technology, Engineering, or a related field. Advanced degree preferred.
- Proven experience in a senior technology leadership role within the fintech industry.
- Strong knowledge of core banking systems, fintech solutions, and digital transformation initiatives.
- Expertise in technology architecture, software development, and IT infrastructure.
- Excellent leadership and team management skills with a track record of building and leading high-performing teams.
- Outstanding problem-solving and decision-making abilities.
- Strong communication skills with the ability to effectively interact with executives, stakeholders, and team members.
- Experience in managing technology budgets and resource allocation.

**Experience**:

- Minimum of 7 years of experience in technology roles, with at least 3 years in a senior leadership position such as Head of Technology or equivalent.
- Proven experience in the fintech sector, including digital banking systems, digital payments, and financial software development.
- Demonstrated success in leading large-scale technology projects and digital transformation efforts.
- Experience with regulatory compliance, security standards, and risk management in the financial industry.
- Previous experience in managing cross-functional teams and collaborating with senior executives.

Pay: From AED15,000.00 per month
