**Responsibilities**

  • Supervise and lead a team of mechanics, providing training and guidance on best practices, especially in engine repair.
  • Diagnose and repair mechanical issues, focusing on complete engine repairs and overhauls.
  • Oversee the maintenance and repair of vehicles to ensure compliance with safety and quality standards.
  • Conduct quality control inspections of completed engine repairs and other work performed.
  • Manage inventory of tools and engine components to ensure availability for repairs.
  • Communicate effectively with customers regarding engine issues, repair options, and costs.
  • Maintain accurate records of repairs, maintenance, and parts used, particularly for engine work.
  • Ensure compliance with safety regulations and company policies.

**Qualifications**

  • 5+ years of experience as a mechanic, with at least 3 years in a supervisory role preferred.
  • Strong expertise in complete engine repairs, including diagnostics and rebuilds.
  • Proficiency in using diagnostic tools and equipment specific to engine repair.
  • Strong leadership and team management skills.
  • Excellent problem-solving abilities and attention to detail.
  • Strong communication skills.
