**Job Title: Special Education Teacher**
**Location**: Dubai

**Job Overview**:
**Key Responsibilities**:

- Provide personalized academic and behavioral support to students with special needs.
- Develop and implement **Individualized Education Plans (IEPs)** in collaboration with therapists and parents.
- Conduct daily classroom activities that enhance the cognitive, social, emotional, and physical development of students.
- Ensure students’ safety, care, and wellbeing throughout the day.
- Modify the traditional educational curriculum to meet the individual learning needs of each child.
- Monitor, assess, and report on each student’s progress and challenges.
- Prepare and maintain detailed **support reports, daily logs, and progress documentation**.
- Coordinate with speech, occupational, and behavioral therapists as part of the multidisciplinary team.
- Communicate regularly with parents/guardians to update them on their child’s progress and discuss concerns.
- Create a supportive and inclusive classroom environment that encourages independence and confidence.
- Address and manage behavioral issues using positive reinforcement strategies.
- Participate in staff meetings, training sessions, and continuous professional development.

**Requirements**:

- Bachelor’s Degree in Special Education or a relevant field (Master’s preferred).
- Arabic preferred
- **Minimum 2 years of experience** working with children with special needs.
- Strong understanding of various developmental and learning disabilities (e.g., ASD, ADHD, Down syndrome).
- Ability to adapt teaching methods to meet the needs of individual learners.
- Excellent communication and interpersonal skills.
- Knowledge of documentation and reporting practices for special needs programs.
- Patience, empathy, and a genuine passion for working with children with special needs.
- Familiarity with assistive technology and inclusive education practices is a plus.

**Preferred Skills**:

- Certification in ABA, TEACCH, or other special education programs.
- Classroom management skills tailored to special education environments.
- Experience working with a multidisciplinary team.
- Fluent in English (additional languages are a plus).

**Salary**: Based on qualifications and experience
