**Job Title: MEP Coordinator**

**Job Summary**:
Responsible for the coordination, monitoring, and execution of all mechanical, electrical, and plumbing works on the assigned project. Working under the guidance of the MEP Manager, the MEP Coordinator ensures that MEP installations are carried out in line with approved drawings, project specifications, quality standards, authority regulations, and the overall project schedule. This role demands close collaboration with civil, structural, and architectural teams, subcontractors, and suppliers to resolve technical issues, avoid design conflicts, and ensure smooth project progress.

**Key Responsibilities**:

- Coordinate the installation of mechanical, electrical, and plumbing systems with the civil, structural, and architectural works to avoid clashes and ensure smooth workflow.
- Review IFC drawings, shop drawings, and coordination drawings to identify discrepancies, design conflicts, or missing information and propose technical solutions.
- Monitor and supervise MEP activities on site to ensure compliance with approved drawings, technical specifications, and quality requirements.
- Liaise with the MEP Manager, subcontractors, and suppliers to ensure timely delivery of materials and equipment to meet the project schedule.
- Participate in technical meetings with consultants, clients, subcontractors, and internal teams to discuss progress, challenges, and coordination issues.
- Prepare and submit MEP technical submittals, method statements, and as-built drawings in coordination with the project team.
- Coordinate with BIM teams for 3D model reviews, clash detection, and integration of MEP services with other disciplines.
- Ensure proper installation of MEP works in accordance with authority regulations such as DEWA, Dubai Municipality, and Dubai Civil Defense.
- Track progress of MEP activities against project milestones and report delays, risks, or resource constraints to the MEP Manager.
- Assist in the inspection and approval process with consultants and authorities for MEP works.
- Oversee MEP testing and commissioning works, ensuring compliance with approved procedures and performance requirements.
- Monitor and control the quality of MEP works, identifying non-conformities and implementing corrective measures.
- Coordinate with the safety team to ensure that all MEP works are executed in accordance with safety regulations and project HSE requirements.
- Support the preparation of handover documents, operation & maintenance manuals, and final authority approvals for MEP systems.

**Requirements**:

- Bachelor’s degree in Mechanical or Electrical Engineering.
- 10 or more years of experience in MEP coordination with main contractors including 8 years in UAE.
- Strong technical knowledge of MEP systems, installation methods, and authority regulations (DEWA, DM, DCD, etc.).
