**CHIEF ACCOUNTANT**:
**Job Purpose**
- The Chief Accountant ensures accurate financial reporting, compliance with taxation regulations, effective budgeting and cost management, proper asset management, and efficient financial operations coordination. They provide timely financial information, identify cost optimization areas, ensure compliance with regulations, and safeguard financial confidentiality. By overseeing processes and collaborating with stakeholders, the Chief Accountant maintains financial stability, supports strategic planning, and ensures integrity and transparency

**Core Responsibilities and Duties**:
1. **Financial Reporting and Compliance**
- Ensure compliance with FTA, Excise Tax, and all other Federal Taxation Rules and Regulations for all companies under the Group.
- Prepare monthly Financial Reports, including Profit and Loss, Balance Sheet, Inventory, VAT, Costing, Schedules, and Cash Flow Statement.
- Present financial reports to the CEO of the company.

2. **Budgeting and Cost Management**:

- Prepare and manage the company's budget.
- Forecast expected sales and analyze Fixed/Variable costs associated with sales on a monthly/yearly basis.
- Implement cost-cutting programs for budgeting purposes.

3. **Asset Management and Analysis**:

- Manage all company fixed assets, including records, depreciation, disposal, and monitoring of cash advances.
- Perform monthly analysis of Production Cost and Product Cost.

4. **Compliance and Auditing**:

- Ensure group senior accountants are in line with accounting procedures, FTA rules and regulations, and any excise tax-related matters.
- Coordinate and collaborate with external auditors to evaluate accounting systems and assist with audit procedures.

5. **Payments and Record-Keeping**:

- Handle official Payments Payables and Receivables with proper record-keeping and documentation.
- Manage Post-Dated Checks (PDCs) issued and keep the CEO informed.
- Prepare and verify vouchers (Cash/Bank payments and receipts, JVs) with proper documentation and submit them for CEO approval.

6. **Banking and Coordination**:

- Coordinate and resolve issues with banks, including cleared check differences, bank fee anomalies, targeted balance calculations, and online services enhancements.

7. **Record Keeping and Other Requirements**:

- Maintain employee records and provisions for Gratuity, Leave Salaries, etc.
- Ensure compliance with legal requirements, including Export/Import Documentations and other legal and regulatory department's business requirements.

**Academic Qualification**
- Bachelor's degree in Accounting, Finance, or a related field.
- Master’s degree in Accounting, Finance, or a related field is preferred.
- Professional certification such as Certified Public Accountant (CPA), Chartered Accountant (CA), or Certified Management Accountant is preferred.
- Proven experience as a Chief Accountant or similar role, preferably in FMCG industry.

**Salary**: AED7,000.00 - AED9,000.00 per month
