**Key Responsibilities**:

- **Supervision and Leadership**:

- Supervise and coordinate the activities of housekeeping staff, including room attendants, cleaners, and laundry personnel, to ensure that all tasks are completed efficiently and according to established standards.
- Provide guidance, training, and support to housekeeping team members, motivating them to perform at their best and maintaining a positive work environment.
- **Quality Control**:

- Conduct regular inspections of guest rooms, public areas, and back-of-house areas to ensure cleanliness, orderliness, and compliance with company standards and hygiene regulations.
- Address any issues or deficiencies promptly, coordinating with staff to implement corrective actions and preventive measures as needed.
- **Inventory Management**:

- Manage inventory levels of cleaning supplies, linens, amenities, and other housekeeping materials, ensuring adequate stock levels and proper storage.
- Monitor consumption rates, track usage patterns, and prepare requisitions for supplies as necessary to maintain smooth operations.
- **Guest Satisfaction**:

- Respond promptly to guest requests, complaints, or concerns related to housekeeping services, taking appropriate action to resolve issues and ensure guest satisfaction.
- Coordinate with other departments, such as front office and maintenance, to address guest needs and ensure a seamless guest experience.
- **Training and Development**:

- Conduct training sessions and on-the-job coaching for housekeeping staff to ensure that they are well-trained in cleaning techniques, safety procedures, and customer service standards.
- Foster a culture of continuous improvement and professional development among housekeeping team members, encouraging them to strive for excellence in their work.
- **Reporting and Documentation**:

- Maintain accurate records of housekeeping activities, including room occupancy, cleaning schedules, maintenance requests, and staff attendance.
- Prepare reports and performance metrics to track key performance indicators, identify areas for improvement, and measure departmental effectiveness.

**Requirements**:

- Previous experience in housekeeping or janitorial roles, with at least 1-2 years of supervisory experience preferred.
- Strong leadership and interpersonal skills, with the ability to motivate and inspire team members to achieve goals and deliver high-quality service.
- Excellent organizational and time management skills, with the ability to prioritize tasks effectively and meet deadlines.
- Knowledge of cleaning techniques, sanitation standards, and safety protocols in a hospitality or similar environment.
- Familiarity with inventory management systems and basic computer skills for record-keeping and reporting.
- Flexibility to work shifts, including weekends, holidays, and evenings, as needed.
- Fluent in English; additional language skills are a plus.
